Role Overview
The Warehouse Loader is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods from the warehouse to the retail shop while ensuring that the right items are delivered in the correct quantity and condition.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Load items from the warehouse to the shop in a safe and organized manner.
- Unload deliveries at the shop, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Arrange goods in the designated storage areas after unloading.
- Verify that the correct items and quantities are being loaded and delivered.
- Cross-check items with the inventory or delivery list before dispatching.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing stock to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
- Assist in sorting, stacking, and arranging goods in the warehouse for easy retrieval.
- Ensure that fragile items are handled according to storage and safety standards
- Follow all warehouse and loading safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness in the loading areas.
- Work closely with the warehouse and shop teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist in stock counts and receiving goods when necessary.
- Communicate any logistical challenges or delays to the Warehouse Manager.

- Ability to accurately match items with invoices and stock lists.
- Attention to details and noticing discrepancies in quantity or quality of goods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely.
- Capable of working for long hours and under pressure.
- Takes ownership of assigned tasks and ensures timely completion.
- Follows instructions carefully and works with minimal supervision.
- Works well with other warehouse staff and shop attendants.
- Effectively communicates any issues or stock concerns to the Warehouse Manager
- Understands and follows safety procedures for handling goods.
- Adheres to company policies on warehouse operations and stock management.
Requirement
- Minimum of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) or West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or any other relevant field.
- 1-2 years experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail loading role
- Applicant must live in and around Osu/Labadi/Teshie
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English Language
